TFE was founded originally to support the K-12 community. Our early focus was on infrastructure – things like structured cabling and network infrastructure.
Today, we have offices throughout the state of Texas. While our roots started in education our expertise has enabled us to deliver services to the higher education, local government, commercial, and healthcare industries. We’ve evolved the network to become the platform for other architectures – and now we meet the changing needs of businesses across all industries through unified communications, professional audio/visual, data center, and physical security.
One lasting goal of TFE is to be easy to do business with. TFE is a historically underutilized business (HUB), and we have nearly all products and services on state cooperative contracts for those customers needing to recognize HUB credits or leverage state contracts for ease of procurement. Most importantly, we try to cut out the obstacles found with large conglomerates.

Our belief is to do our very best and deliver the results our clients need. That’s why we maintain connections with a wide variety of product and solution vendors and regularly help our clients navigate through the process of dealing with multiple vendors for an IT project. We know this can be challenging in our industry, but by helping one another we have established ourselves as a moral and hardworking organization that goes above and beyond by thinking outside of the box.
TFE started with an idea: create a fun, energetic, youthful, family-oriented environment. We are not afraid to make mistakes. It is the mistakes we make that remind us how imperfect we are and for that we are stronger. Lead the way!

While many may view it as impractical to not be driven by revenue, we look to our past to understand success is achieved by tenacity and sacrifice. It is made by building one new relationship or solving one new problem. Customer service is not a destination, it is a journey. Whatever it takes!
The biggest mistake many people make is to play it safe. While sitting in the audience may not make you a target, those on stage are the ones that are applauded. Stand up, take the lead, and make the difference.
